2021- 2022 School Year Prices:

Base Prices (Drop-off Preschool)
4hr classes - 8:30am to 12:30pm
 TTH - $380 / mo  - $3420 school year
MWF - $560 / mo - $5040 school year
Coop "Plan 1" Pricing **See Below**
$60 off tuition for each shift worked

note: traditional co-op parents will work in the classroom

3-4 times per month and reduce their tuition to 1/2 to 2/3 of drop-off tuition, equivalent to our "Plan 1" pricing in past yrs

STATUS OF CLASSROOM PARENTS “Plan 1” for Fall 2021:  
We don’t know yet! COVID restrictions are constantly changing - and the requirements for stable cohorts make it very difficult to have multiple rotating adults in the classroom with children.  We don’t know yet when we will be able to allow all parents back into the classroom, but we want to return to offering this more cost effective and traditional co-op option as soon as possible.  However, we do not anticipate being able to have younger siblings and babies attend with classroom parents at all this year.  For now: Please email your Teacher ASAP if you would like to be a classroom parent this year. There will be a very limited number of classroom parent spots available with proof of COVID vaccination possibly as soon as the start of school.


Base tuition will be discounted $60 for each shift worked. Ultimately, this will allow flexibility for parents with different schedules, but until all COVID restrictions are lifted we will only be able to have a few classroom parents total, thus we may only be able to accommodate parents who can make substantial commitments.  Classroom parents will need to meet all requirements: LiveScan fingerprinting, vaccinations for COVID, Measles, Pertussis, and TB testing.



After our COVID closure last year, we are going to be running a very “tight ship” financially at BB as we rebuild our program.  Please understand that we are a tiny non-profit mountain preschool run by local families for local families.  We charge just enough tuition to pay our teachers and other expenses so that we can keep everyone’s tuition low.  Compared to other local preschools BB is able to offer a VERY affordable program.
For this year:

- consider paying in advance
- payments are non-refundable
- no sibling discounts
School Year Payments: School year tuition is divided into 9 monthly installments. Your deposit to reserve your child’s spot is 2 installments due on July 15, this covers your child’s tuition for the first two months of the year. Seven additional installments are due on the 1st of the month from Sept 1 through April 1. In order to keep our costs stable, we require payment a full month in advance (e.g. October tuition is due on Sept 1).
School Year Payment Schedule:
Due on July 15 - 2 installments, covers tuition through October
Due on Oct 1st - 1 installment, covers tuition through November
Due on Nov 1st - 1 installment, covers tuition through December
Due on Dec 1st - 1 installment, covers tuition through January 
Due on Jan  1st - 1 installment, covers tuition through February 
Due on Feb 1st - 1 installment, covers tuition through March 
Due on Mar 1st - 1 installment, covers tuition through April 
Due on Apr 1st - 1 installment, covers tuition through the end of the year 
WITHDRAW POLICIES: Payments are ALWAYS non-refundable and made a month ahead of time. If you need to withdraw your child, make your decision well in advance and notify your teacher. For example, February Tuition is due January 1, so you will need to notify your Teacher before Jan. 1 if you child will no longer be attending class in February.
HOW TO PAY: E-payments make the task of our parent volunteers so much easier!  Please use E-payments through our online system - if you absolutely must pay by check consider paying for a semester or the full year and use the tuition drop-box at school.
ACH BANK ACCOUNT PAYMENTS:  Families can select ACH payment to have the amount due directly debited from your bank account.  This is easiest and only costs BB $1 per transaction.  For security, our payment processor requires verification of “microdeposits” the first time a family makes an ACH payment.  Following your first ACH payment you will receive an automated email with instructions to verify the amounts of two small microdeposits into your bank account (like .02 & .06).  
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: If you choose to pay by credit card - you MUST select the button "Yes" to donate the cost of processing the payment, otherwise we will add the cost of credit card fees to your next bill.  Our little non-profit preschool cannot absorb the costs of credit card fees, and this is the only way we can accept credit card payments.
PAYING IN ADVANCE: We love it when families can pay for a semester or year in advance.  When viewing your “Billing” screen in the family portal, there is a blue link at the bottom to show “All Pages”.  This will show your billing amount through the end of the year.  On the payment screen, you can enter whatever total works for your family.
SCHOLARSHIPS:  Please visit the admissions page on the BB website to download the scholarship application.  Our scholarships are very limited and need to be applied for well in advance.
