Building Blocks Cooperative Preschool offers classes for children ages two to five years old. Each class is overseen by a lead teacher, 1-2 other teachers, and 2-3 parents assisting in the classroom to maintain a 1:5 ratio or better.
Two-Day Class for Ages 2-3
Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
For children ages 2 and 3
Must be 2 by September 1
This class is all about learning to play! This class is about play dough, sand castles, slime, art, glitter projects, bubbles in the yard, listening to stories, and learning to be part of a class group. Children do not need to be potty trained for this class.
Parent/Tot Option: Children between 18 months and two years old are sometimes eligible to come with a parent or caregiver and take part in all the daily activities. Toddlers will begin to learn social skills, gain trust in other adults, and embark on fostering friendships with their peer group. Families are not required to participate in the cooperative aspects of Building Blocks but are welcome to attend all community events. When the child turns two years old, the student can transition to regular enrollment if space is available and attend without a caregiver.
